Refund Policy

Humanologie is a DBA of Hollywoodsy Inc. We provide custom digital services involving time, planning, strategy, design, and technical work.

Because each project is created around a client’s specific needs, our refund policy is outlined below.

Custom Services

Payments for completed custom services are generally non-refundable.

This includes:

  • Website design and development

  • Branding and visual identity

  • SEO, AEO, and GEO services

  • Content and social media

  • Strategy and consulting

  • Technical setup and support

  • Accessibility guidance

  • Digital deliverables already completed or provided

Refunds are generally not issued once work has been completed, reviewed, approved, published, launched, or delivered.

Deposits

Project deposits reserve time in our schedule and cover onboarding, planning, research, strategy, and preparation.

Deposits are generally non-refundable once payment has been made and project time has been reserved.

If a client delays, pauses, abandons, or cancels a project, the deposit will be applied toward reserved time and work already completed.

Consultations and Scheduled Services

Payments for completed consultations are non-refundable.

Requests to reschedule or cancel an upcoming session should be submitted as early as possible. Eligibility for a credit or rescheduled appointment may depend on the notice provided and the terms shown at booking.

Missed appointments may not be eligible for a refund or credit.

Ongoing and Recurring Services

Fees for work already completed during a billing period are non-refundable.

Clients may request cancellation of future recurring services according to the notice requirements in their proposal or service agreement. Cancellation does not remove responsibility for outstanding invoices or work already completed.

If You Are Unhappy With a Service

If you are dissatisfied with a service, please contact Humanologie so we can review the concern and the agreed project scope.

Depending on the circumstances, a resolution may include:

  • Clarifying expectations

  • Reviewing the original scope

  • Correcting an error

  • Providing reasonable revisions within scope

  • Discussing another fair solution based on the project stage

We ask that clients contact us directly before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.

Partial Refunds

In limited circumstances, a partial refund may be considered at the sole discretion of Humanologie.

The decision may account for:

  • The project stage

  • Work already completed

  • Time reserved or invested

  • Deliverables already provided

  • Third-party expenses incurred

  • Client communication and approvals

  • The original project scope

Refund decisions are made individually and do not establish an obligation to approve future requests.

Non-Refundable Costs

The following costs are generally non-refundable:

  • Deposits

  • Completed services

  • Approved or delivered work

  • Strategy and consultation time

  • Third-party subscriptions or licenses

  • Domain, hosting, software, font, or stock asset purchases

  • Processing fees

  • Rush fees

  • Work completed outside the original scope with client approval

Chargebacks

Clients agree to contact Humanologie before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

Chargebacks filed for authorized payments or completed work may result in paused services, withheld deliverables, account termination, and submission of project records to the payment provider.

How to Request a Review

Refund-related requests must be submitted in writing to hello@withhumanologie.com.

Please include:

  • Your name and organization

  • The relevant project or invoice

  • The reason for the request

  • Any information that may help us review the concern

Submitting a request does not guarantee a refund.
